Luke has been in the remodeling industry for over 20 years!. His interest for woodworking and carpentry goes all the way back to shop class in high school. While going through the carpentry program at RCTC, he started a job as a carpenter working for a local high end home builder. After 12 years of working under master carpenters and gaining experience in all aspects of building trades, he decided to open Stier Construction to offer a different remodeling experience to the Rochester Area. Luke is on the board of directors for the Rochester Area Builders. What’s his favorite part of remodeling? “I’ve always enjoyed taking something ordinary or outdated, and transforming it into something extraordinary. I love the process of turning an owner inspired concept into a completed, beautiful new space. Working with my hands has always been something that I have enjoyed, and I think that’s what prompted me to pursue a career in carpentry. I really enjoy the details and challenges a remodeling project creates, its very rewarding to see a project through from start to finish!” In his spare time you can find Luke riding his motorcycle on the open road, playing his guitar or building furniture in his wood shop. He also enjoys hunting, fishing and swimming with his family in their backyard pool house or taking his girls out on the rangers.

Krista is an NCIDQ certified interior designer. She holds a bachelor of science in interior design from South Dakota State University. Her love for design carries into every aspect of her life. From home design to crafting, cooking and photography she loves to create “all the things”. What’s her favorite part of remodeling? “I love how remodeling can take a space that lacks functionality, style and purpose to a space that is tailor made for my clients. Creating different options to solve a space problem that allows clients to have a room that makes their day to day life not only function better but also be more beautiful is what makes my job so rewarding. Never underestimate the power of a well designed space!” When she isn’t designing or creating, you can find her fly fishing a quiet stream, hiking with her dogs, tackling the next home project with her husband or being the referee (aka boy mom) to the never ending antics of her two boys.
