We talk with lots of homeowners every year that are curious about improving their lifestyle and their home. Whether it’s a kitchen remodel, adding a master bathroom, finishing a basement or a full addition there is always a project in mind. Whatever project our clients are thinking of, many start with these questions.
What is possible with my space? What will my space look like? How much will my remodel cost? How long does the remodeling process take?
You are preparing to make a significant change in your home. You have chosen to not only invest in your house, but more importantly your lifestyle. It is imperative that you are informed on your investment so you make the right decisions. The two major deciding factors in this process are to find out what’s possible and how much it will cost. Many times homeowners don’t know the possibilities of their space, how it can function, or how it can look.
We created our Discovery Phase to present you with all the information needed to help you make the right decisions. Our journey together begins with a meeting in your home. We discuss your vision, your wish-list, and answer any questions you may have on our remodeling process. Our team will bring their expertise in construction, remodeling, space planning and material selections right to your home.
During this meeting we will:
We will take all of this information back to our studio and get to work designing different layout options that meet your needs. Space planning is our specialty and something our Interior Designers excel at. Taking the shell of a space and working around the parameters given to create something totally new and tailor made for your lifestyle is our goal.
Once your designs are ready, we will invite you to our showroom. Our team will present you with 2-3 different design concepts for your remodel. We will use floor plans, elevations and 3-d drawings to ensure you know exactly how your space could look and function. We will also present visuals for material directions to convey the overall look and feel of your new space. A successful remodel starts with a clear vision and plan to ensure that you are confident in your options moving forward.
A budget scenario will also be presented at this meeting. Why a budget and not an estimate? Because it needs to be your space and you will need to make all the final material selections. We will use allowances based on the finishes we discussed but there are lots of decisions that will need to be made in order to arrive at a final number. Along with the budget, a general scope of work and a timeline will be reviewed so that you have a better idea of what your remodel will cost and how long it will take!
This meeting is when we help you determine the best way to move forward with your project. The next step in our process is the Project Development Phase. This is where the magic happens!
